THE SAD LOSS OF DR. SAVIOUR CILIA
The news of the tragic death of Dr. Saviour Cilia struck us all with great disbelief and shock. Dr. Cilia had been active in the MCFD for many years and was Secretary for Communication in the past MCFD Council. He was always ready to help others and showed great dedication in his work for others. He will be sadly missed by all of us and we will surely remember all the great work he has done within the MCFD and the MAM. Most of all we will miss a truly dear and honest friend.
The President and the council of the Malta College of Family Doctors, along with all the members of the college, expressed their deepest sorrow and condolences to his wife (Dr. Nadia Cilia), his children and all his family for this extremely sad loss.
The funeral was held on Tuesday 5th June 2007 at St. Sebastian parish church Qormi. The packed church showed how much Salvu was in our hearts and respected by all.
