This book provides family caregivers with the medical and nursing information they will need to support their loved ones in clear, easily understood language. This also helps them understand the journey upon which their loved one has embarked and to become an effective, informed member of the palliative care team providing essential physical, spiritual, and emotional support. The service is being provided by the Priory of the Maltese Islands of the Military & Hospitaller Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem in conjunction with the Canadian jurisdiction of the Order.
